Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data this website collects when you visit, why we collect it, the legal basis for doing so, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it. We are an independent review site, not a gambling operator, so we handle very little personal data — mainly anonymous analytics, cookies, and anything you choose to send us through our contact email. This policy is written in the spirit of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applies to everyone who uses the Site. For the rules governing your use of the Site itself, see our Terms & Conditions.

01 / Who we are

Who we are & scope

We operate this independent information portal, which publishes reviews and comparisons of online casinos and crash games. For the purposes of data-protection law, we are the "data controller" for the limited personal data described here — that is, we decide why and how it is processed.

This policy covers only your use of this website. It does not cover the data practices of the gambling operator BetOnRed (operated by Uno Digital Media B.V., Curaçao), which runs its own separate service under its own privacy policy. If you leave our Site through an outbound link and register or deposit with the operator, the data you give them is governed by their policy, not ours. We never receive, hold or have access to your casino account details, deposits or gameplay. For details on how deposits and withdrawals actually work at the casino, see our payments and withdrawals guide.

02 / What we collect

Personal data we collect

Because we do not run accounts, most visitors can read the entire Site without giving us any personal information at all. The data we do process falls into three narrow categories:

Analytics & technical data

When you browse, our analytics tools automatically record technical, largely anonymised information — such as pages viewed, approximate region, referring source, device and browser type, and general usage patterns. This is statistical: we use it to understand which guides are helpful and to improve the Site, not to identify you personally.

Cookies & similar technologies

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to make the Site work, remember your preferences and measure traffic. Full detail — including the categories, examples and how to control them — is in our dedicated Cookie Policy.

Contact-form / email data

If you email us or use a contact form, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address and the content of your message. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry. Please do not send us sensitive personal data or any casino account credentials; we neither need nor want them.

03 / Why & on what basis

Purposes & legal basis

Under GDPR every processing activity needs a lawful basis. Ours are set out below.

DataPurposeLegal basis
Essential / functional cookiesMake the Site load, remember settings and keep it secureLegitimate interest (running the Site) / strictly necessary
Analytics data & analytics cookiesUnderstand traffic and improve contentYour consent (given via the cookie banner)
Marketing / advertising cookiesMeasure campaigns and, where enabled, personalised advertisingYour consent
Contact / email dataAnswer your enquiry and keep a record of correspondenceLegitimate interest / taking steps at your request

Where our basis is consent, you are free to refuse or withdraw it at any time without affecting your ability to read the Site — see Your rights and the Cookie Policy.

04 / Cookies

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that let a site remember information about your visit. We use them for essential functions, to analyse traffic and, where you agree, for marketing measurement. When you first arrive you are shown a consent banner where you can Allow all cookies or open Cookie Settings to choose which categories to accept. You can change your choice or clear cookies at any time.

A full breakdown — categories, examples, first-party versus third-party, session versus persistent, and browser-by-browser instructions for managing them — is on the separate Cookie Policy page.

05 / Third parties

Third parties we work with

We do not sell your personal data. We share the limited data above only with the service providers that help us run the Site, and only for the purposes described here. In practice this means our analytics and advertising-measurement partners — Google Analytics and/or Facebook (Meta) Pixel — which set cookies and process usage data on our behalf so we can understand traffic and, where enabled, measure and personalise advertising.

These providers process data under their own privacy terms and appropriate data-processing agreements. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so, or to protect our rights, the security of the Site or the safety of others. Outbound links to the operator and other third-party sites take you to services with their own separate privacy policies, which we do not control.

06 / Retention

How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires.

  • Cookie & analytics information is retained for up to 6 months after your last visit, after which it is deleted or fully anonymised. Individual cookies may expire sooner depending on their type (see the Cookie Policy).
  • Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, then deleted.

When data is no longer needed we either securely delete it or irreversibly anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.

07 / Your rights

Your data-protection rights

If you are in the EU/EEA or another region with equivalent law, you have the following rights over your personal data, which you can exercise free of charge:

  • Access — ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (the "right to be forgotten"), where there is no overriding reason to keep it.
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing while a query is resolved.
  • Portability — receive certain data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, including for direct-marketing measurement.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing relies on consent (such as analytics or marketing cookies), withdraw it at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out.

To exercise any right, email our Data Protection Officer at help@bet-on-red.ing. We will respond within the time limits set by law. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Withdrawing consent for analytics or marketing cookies never blocks you from reading the Site — essential functions keep working regardless.

08 / Transfers

International transfers

Some of the service providers we rely on — notably analytics and advertising-measurement partners — operate globally, so your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on those providers applying appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, so that your data continues to receive a comparable level of protection wherever it is processed.

09 / Security & children

Security & children

Security. This Site is served over SSL/TLS encryption, so data travelling between your browser and the Site is encrypted in transit. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we hold against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take the safeguarding of your data seriously.

Children. This Site and its subject matter are strictly for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10 / Contact
